An exploration of the relationship between structured geometric form and rhythmic perforation.

Defined by crisp geometric contours, the object features a sequence of precise openings that introduce function, rhythm, and subtle movement to its surface. As incense is placed within each slot, smoke emerges in sequence transforming repetitive perforations into a quiet rhythm unfolding through space.

Presented in two orientations Vertical and Horizontal the same movement achieves two distinct spatial expressions. In the vertical form, smoke ascends gracefully along the object’s central axis. In the horizontal form, it drifts across the surface. Across both axes, perforation moves beyond mere functional detail to actively shape the direction, pace, and presence of smoke within space.
